This site is maintained by Daniel X. O’Neil. You can contact me at danx@aldermanicwebsites.com. Here’s some of my relevant background in politics and government issues. Here’s disclosure of my interests in Aldermanic candidates:

• I live in the 35th ward. Last election I voted for Rey Colon. He’ll probably have my vote this time as well, but I’m open!
• I support 32nd Ward alderman Scott Waguespack and have given his campaign $100 recently. I think he’s a great civil servant and his voice is sorely needed in the City Council
• I attended a recent fundraiser for Che “Rhymefest” Smith in the 20th Ward, where I paid $100. George Clinton blew our minds
• I have informally advised 49th Ward Alderman Joe Moore in the past. I like him a lot

Other than that, my guiding political interests are transparency, accountability, and competence. I also have long-standing interests in fucking shit up and having fun.

I focus solely on technology, content, and design on this site– I truly want it to be useful for campaign planning. No personal attacks and limited snark; no horse race chit-chat.

Having said that, I now know quite a bit about the makeup of the next City Council, so I’m happy to advise &etc. over coffee.
